About this frame

The Arrino is solid brass done properly. Rounded ball finials top substantial turned posts, gently swept rails curve across head and foot, and slim spindles are dressed with delicate cast-brass rosettes — the timeless silhouette of a classic Victorian bed. Every finial is cast in solid brass and finished by hand, for a warm, lustrous glow that only deepens with age. On a sprung base with optional under-bed storage, it's an heirloom you'll keep for life.

Solid brass, not brass-plated

It's an important difference. Many "brass" beds are only brass-plated over steel — a thin coating that can chip, flake and dull over time. The Arrino is the real thing: solid brass throughout, with finials and rosettes cast in solid brass and finished by hand. It won't flake or peel, and rather than fading it develops a soft, living patina that grows warmer and more characterful with age. This is a bed you buy once and pass on — brass that looks as good in fifty years as it does today.

Crisp Detailed Finish

Every frame is made from thick-gauge steel, traditionally cast and welded the way iron beds were built to last — solid where cheap frames are thin, and finished by hand rather than pressed on a line. It's the difference between a bed you replace and one you keep for decades.

Simple, Solid Support

A slat base with nothing to wear out. Each frame comes with individual solid slats that drop straight into their own slots — no tools, no tension springs, nothing to crack or sag over time. It's support built the same way as the frame: simple, sturdy, and made to hold for decades.

Trusted since 1968

A cast iron bed is a decades-long decision — and so is the company you buy it from. We've been in the same family for over fifty years: long enough to watch trends come and go, and stubborn enough to keep building beds the way that lasts. When a bed is meant to outlive the room around it, it matters who stands behind it.
